The added Widescreen hacks also makes a great bonus. Woohoo, I finally made some time to set up Nintendont on my Wii U. I had Brawl and a 2GB SD card, and am surprised at how simple it all is. I've some questions I'm hoping for some help with: 1. I want to install a loader for Wii games too, I have CFG Loader on my Wii which I've been using for years, but would appreciate a recommendation if there's a preferred one to use on Wii U. I copied over F Zero GX from my USB HDD to the SD card and can see it appearing in Nintendont, but I've not booted it up yet because I'm not sure how to get the Wii U Pro controller working on this. What do I need to do? I noticed on the settings menu, there is an option to download controllers.zip and titles.txt. Do I need to get these? Are all Gamecube games 1.46GB in size? Each game on my USB HDD showed this size. I plan to get a 64/128GB SD card and stick a bunch of my Wii and GC games on there. Is it okay to keep them on the same card, and will I need separate apps (e.g. ![]() Nintendont and CFG Loader) to access games for each system, or is there one interface I can see them all in? Is anyone running Wii/GC games off a SD card, and if so, have you had any issues yet? I'm worried about running massive discs like Metroid Prime Trilogy. I'm sure I'll have some more questions, but the above are a few to start with. Now I just need to get hold of a Wii U GC adapter. EDIT: Will the pro controller need to be connected via USB or is it possible to use wirelessly? His first published work was 'Amores', a collection of short love poems. EDIT 2: When I go to the Homebrew channel, the screen shows up in 4:3, as does Nintendont. However, on my original Wii, the HBC shows up in widescreen. Is it possible to switch it to widescreen on the Wii U? Simple copy over is all I did. I use the vWii version of the one I used on Wii. Assuming the Wii U Pro controller had been previously wirelessly synced with the Wii U, all you need to do is press a button on the pad after Nintendont had loaded for it to be usable. Best to use full size images. Trimmed ROMs can sometimes crash (Super Monkey Ball did this for me) 5. Same card is fine. SD card for GC games only for me. But I can't imagine there'll be a problem for using it with Wii games also. Wireless Pro controller works. I have to use a forwarder for the HBC to get proper Wii U windscreen for GC stuff. Not sure why. Simple copy over is all I did. I use the vWii version of the one I used on Wii. I just can't get the options to stick! I have configured Nintendont from inside USBLGX and it recognizes the games just fine, but whenever I boot them, Nintendont completely ignores the settings from inside the loader and resets its own settings. Everything works as intended if I boot the game from within Nintendont. But all the settings are reset if I try to boot it from within USB Loader GX. Any idea on what may be causing this? Is there anything I have to do on my PC to make it work properly (editing a settings file, making it Read Only, etc.)? I can't find any tutorial that deals with Nintendont through backup launchers.
